What to Expect
When taking an oral sedative, you will feel drowsy during the procedure but will still be awake. People who take this form of sedation might not remember much of what happened during the treatment due to its effects. After having your treatment, you will not be able to drive yourself home. Therefore, you’ll need to have a responsible adult bring you to and from the appointment if you plan on using oral sedation.
